Problems with physics
I have been going through the tutorials and I'm working on the Auto Depth of Field tutorial, and it compiles fine. But when I run it, it pops up a message box saying "Can't initialize physics. Make sure you have the latest PhysX drivers."

I have since then updated my graphics drivers, downloaded the PhysX System Software, and I have enabled PhysX in the NVIDIA Control Panel, and yet, the same message still appears.

My only guess was that I maybe needed the PhysX SDK but that would be related to the compilation process not the running process. Am I right?

Just to let you know my current PhysX driver version is 09.09.1112

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Problems with physics
You definately don't need the PhysX SDK, just the runtime. Make sure you have the latest version of the PhysX runtime installed. This is not the same as the PhysX driver. It is a seperate install.

RE: Problems with physics
Does anyone know the solution to my problem? It's really preventing me from continuing the tutorials.

RE: Problems with physics
-you don't need PhysX SDK
-http://www.nvidia.com/object/physx_9.09.1112.html this should work
if its not working then the drivers must have not installed properly

you could try uninstalling everything physx related (physx game installers if any, all other physx drivers)
reboot computer
reinstall latest physx drivers
