Unless one of these exists already, I think that this would really bring together the Esenthel community.

People could discuss the engine, support beginners and quickly answer people's questions.

It also makes the forum seem more alive, which would reassure people into buying a license. No one likes a quiet community when committing to an engine!

I agree, a active and friendly community is a big selling point for me also..
But what I was impressed the most in case of EE is the version history subforum, there isn't a single month missing for the last 3+ years. I also like how bugs get addressed immediately. And in the two weeks I've been evaluating the engine I've seen him take, implement and upload a couple of feature requests!

IRC is good, but not that convenient for people.
Something more web-based (preferably built into the forum) would be quick and simple for anyone to use.

Do you have the current IRC information? I'd love to idle there.
