I just realized EE has no less than 28 forums and subforums, this is way more than any other game engine forums (Unity has less...).

From the new user perception, it makes the forums quite empty while from the old user perception my case is, I am currently checking EE every few days and have really a hard time in finding what's new and going.

You can always use the search function but then you have to know what to search...

I wondered how this could be improved (merging forums), any suggestions ?

Just a suggestion Fred but why not use the View New Posts|View Today's Posts facilities. I use those all the time to get right to what's current.

I do use them too, but if i happen not to check the forums every day I might loose some new interesting posts...

That's exactly what those buttons are for. :x

"View New Posts" shows you all of the new posts since your last visit.

It should actually have pages of unread posts but looks like that's kept to the last 11 posts.

Because there's little information out there, I guess people tend to troll.
Which requires more server bandwidth, so I guess that's why its limited to only 11 posts.


If you want to keep up to date search the forum for author = Esenthel
and tick view posts.
