World area streaming
Reading and trying to understand how area streaming works.

if I use a large mesh as terrain object, like a big sphere with a large texture, does streaming means that the texture will also streamed and only the required part of it loaded? as it would do some virtual texture / megatexture functionality, texture parts loading only if they needed.
or area streaming only valid for terrain parts / objects on the terrain (mesh) and the textures Im using still loaded entirely into memory?
