Advertising mode off:
We've started development on this game in late summer of 2013. The plan wasn't to take this long. But you know how it is. Life situations change, times that you can spend on development get shorter and it becomes a tough job.
Now the game is finally available on both the App Store and Google Play.

Unfortunately I fail to get past the opening splash screen. I touch PLAY and promptly exit the app. Im using a rather old Asus tablet which appears to be capped with Android v4.0.3

sorry to hear that. Could you please try to find the Esenthel Error.txt file in the root folder of your device? Also helpful is the device log while you start the game and that error appears. Please send both to support at knightsdigital.com. Thanks!

No luck in locating those files. Used the FileManager search facility over the whole file structure.Its no train smash for me, so no worries... i was just interested in how your game played out.

That was my thought as well aceio.
