Hey i was wondering something that might sounds silly.
but .exe cannot be open on linux ( unless its on wine )
so how someone that program with esenthel could be using linux, unless he tries the appli on a window on the side ?
or am i missing something ?
i dont think .dll is much more useful to linux user right ?
i don't know much about linux, i've never been really into it, but i was wondering that for a couple days, and thought that i might just ask you guys

RE: linux user
Hi,
Windows: Esenthel.exe
Mac: Esenthel.app
Linux: Esenthel
Linux version of the engine has "Esenthel" file.
When you make games and compile for Linux they have no extension.
You can open them normally by double clicking

RE: linux user

or did i misunderstood ?
any EE project can be port to the linux version without any change ?

RE: linux user
Yes you need to compile it under linux, there you will have a new Linux target available under the "Build" menu.
Yes if you use the Code Editor then you can compile to all platforms without any special changes
Just select other target and press Build.
